RE CARNEVALE is the poster created in marker on paper by Imaginarium Creative Studio, based in Viareggio, for the readers of the newspaper IL TIRRENO.

He is a futuristic Carnival King, a cosmonaut, perhaps even from another world, who lands in Viareggio to bring to life a colorful Carnival: a universal, diverse carnival that blends his tradition with that of a thousand other peoples.

Seen as a whole, this Carnival King looks like a sort of spaceship from the year 3000, but going down in detail, one can see that among the stars and planets, some elements make up his figure, coming from the past and, in particular from Viareggio tradition: the crown is made up of two particular masks, inspired by the costumes of VELE AL VENTO, a walking masquerade of the 1988 Carneval Darsena.

Here the result of this poster is a meeting of past and future local traditions and artistic and cultural expressions from around the world.
