ABBI CURA DI ME TOURSIMONE CRISTICCHI
scenography
In 2019 Imaginarium began its collaboration with one of the most significant artists in the Italian music scene and theater scene, Simone Cristicchi, who, after his success at the last Sanremo Festival, returns to summer stages with his ABBI CURA DI ME TOUR.
A live show that is poetic and profound but also cheerful and fun that traces Cristicchi's entire career from "Vorrei cantare come to Biagio" in 2005 to the present day, a journey between ironic rhymes and essential topics, addressed as always, with his delicacy and elegance and at the same time with his sarcastic and ironic turn of phrase.
Simone asked us to help him build a setting for this concert, a "suspended" and poetic dimension that could be functional and evocative during the performance of ballads and more drawn-out pieces. So we imagined a kind of garden in the middle of the sky, inspired by Chagall's ethereal flight of lovers, populated with light sculptures: precisely for this reason, we chose two objects, a moon, and a tree, that recalled the concept of lightness and eternity, made of paper-mâché, with exposed newspaper.
